Hello lovely people!

What, if any, vitamins or supplements do you take on a daily basis? What is their supposed benefit (aka why do you take them)?

I'd like to start to take vitamins for a various number of reasons (one being that I'm ALWAYS tired) but I don't know where to start besides with a multi-vitamin!

Thanks in advanced :]

I was completely inspired by this community to reconstruct some t-shirts myself. I got a little overzealous with my first attempt but I've figured out how to fix it. I just wanted to say thanks for the inspiration!

ive tried everything and nothing has worked so far!

i know losing hair is normal, but ive been losing a LOT more hairs than normal. every time i take a pin or hair tie out of my hair, i lose a good bulk of strands. when i simply run my fingers through my hair i pull out about 10 strands, and if i run my fingers through the same spot, i'll pull out ANOTHER ten strands. its as if anywhere i put even the slightest bit of pressure (not even a pull) hair will come out. when i shower and shampoo, oh god, im afraid that theres no hair left! i know losing hair is normal but ive lost hair before and its remedied itself. its never been THIS bad or THIS drastic and THIS CONTINUOUS! this has been going on for months now and there's no way my hair can grow at the rate it's falling. WHAT DO YOU GUYS RECOMMEND to make my hair healthy again? i'll try anything at this point!

extra info: i dont straighten my hair (havent for a year now, stopped before problem even began), i shampoo once in 2-3 days, i dont brush my hair when its wet, my diet is as usual, im not stressed out, and ive stopped conditioning my hair since the problem started. AHHH :(

Hey! So I've recently "discovered" Victoria's Secret make up and I must say, some of it is really beautiful. I've only tried the lipglosses and lipsticks, though. What do you think of their foundation, blushes, bronzers, mascara, and eye shadows? I'm trying to decide whether or not to purchase more from them. Thanks!

So I have a bunch of super cute heels that I really want to wear with most of my outfits.
But my problem is, I'm in college, and I have to walk EVERYWHERE. I walk maybe like 2-3 miles per day and I'm out and about for up to 12 hours at a time before I head back to my dorm. I want to look cute but comfort has so far trumped cuteness and I usually wear flats or other comfy shoes to walk around in. I've never gotten much practice wearing heels and I still totter in them! I can't even wear them to parties because each party is a mile or so walk away. :(

Is there any way I can figure out how to make my heels wearable enough to actually spend a significant amount of time in? Does anyone actually last for 12 hours in heels? The longest I've ever worn heels at this point is maybe 2 hours before giving in and changing back into flats. Am I doomed to stare at my heels in my closet without any way to wear them??

and so this post isn't text only, my fave pair of rarely-worn heels:

Out of curiosity, regardless of price, what is everyone's favourite mascara? (The one thing a person needs in their bag to look instantly more awake and glamorous ;D)

My own (so far) is Lancome's Oscillation. It's a hefty price tag ($60 CAD) and the actually oscillation is not overly useful aside from lower lashes and inner lashes...but the formula is the best I've ever used and it gives me lashes like falsies (which is amazing since I have such fine, tiny lashes). But I've only used maybe five different kinds in my life so there's still opportunity to find a better one~

How about yours?

hey everyone! im looking for a new shampoo and im not sure where to go looking.

i wash my curly hair at night and straighten it in the morning. and it always turns out very dry looking/ frizzy. but when it comes to the second day it is completely greasy. i don't want this to happen. i use dry shampoo sometimes on the second day but because i have such dark hair it just looks really bad.

anyone have any ideas??

I'm really lucky to live near a community center with an open pottery lab. Here are some of the pots I've made recently.

Green Bowl

I like how the colors came out on this one. The blue sorta sneaks around inside the green.

The others did not come out as well. I think there was something wrong with the white glaze that day.

On Friday it was the 13th, and I went to a club night where you either had to come as a vampire or a zombie, with some stage acts related to various films of the genre. I had a silver heatproof tablecloth hanging about, and decided to go as a zombie astronaut (my boyfriend went as a zombie hick)

I used a 1960s dress pattern for a simple shift dress, easy to get on without fastenings, and without too many seams to weaken the foil.

Every year my one friend rotates her Christmas decorations between a Snowman Christmas, Santa Christmas, and Penguin Christmas. She has a lot of time on her hands, lol. This year is a Snowman Christmas, so for her birthday in October I made her the snowman off of the Lion Brand website.

For Christmas I decided to make her the penguin and santa off of the Lion website, too, so she has a complete set.

Now I just have to wait to give them to her. That's the hardest part, lol!

A few weeks ago, I bought some very ugly, dirty chairs from the Salvation Army with the intention of putting them in my small-ish kitchen. They were $12 for the pair, which, frankly, I felt to be quite steep. Look how ugly and filthy! Vinyl cushions! Ew. But they were nice and sturdy, and I liked the metal frame, so I took them home to fix them up.

Ever since I've let my hair grow long my hair gets so tangly...So I was wondering is there a detangle spray that you would recommend to use after I wash my hair?

I also am looking for Make-up removing wipes, I would like to take off my make-up off quicker. So are there a specific brand that you would recommend, I have sensitive skin and I breakout easily so I'm scared to just try anything.

Thanks for taking the time in trying to help me.
